The Report

London ended with a race that could have been as Stoffel Vandoorne and Jake Hughes ended outside the points. Both were racing in strong point-finishing positions until incidents took them out of contention.

Jake had a difficult start to the day, missing out on the practice session as the team completed a battery change following an electrical issue. The team worked hard to get him back on track for qualifying, but Jake couldn’t quite find the groove he had yesterday. Unable to progress to the Duels, he took P17 on the starting grid.

Stoffel, once again, found the rhythm of the ExCeL and was able to secure a time that was fourth quickest in Group B. He met CUPRA KIRO’s Dan Ticktum in the fourth quarter-final duel, but a small mistake cost him a chance to move into the semis.

It was a clean start to the race, with both Jake and Stoffel gaining a few positions off the line. Stoffel got into a close battle with Ticktum but the Brit just managed to negate the attack, holding onto P6. Both Jake and Stoffel then settled into a long-stint race, planning on waiting to use their Attack Modes in the second half of the E-Prix, managing their energy through the first half to try and build an advantage on their competitors.

It would have gone to plan with Stoffel comfortably in the top ten, if not for an incident in the first few laps that cost him his front wing. The effect on the car was too much, losing the Belgian too much time, and he was forced to pit, giving up track position. With the London ExCeL being notoriously difficult to overtake at, this really put a dent in his points chances.

A couple of safety cars had brought Jake right into the top ten fight. Still yet to take an Attack Mode, he was P7 and looking to capitalise when he got his extra power. Unfortunately, it was a puncture that saw Jake having to dive into the pits, falling right to the back of the grid and undoing all his hard work.

Some post-race penalties were applied, but it wasn’t enough to get Maserati MSG Racing back into the points. It was a shame for the team and drivers to end the season without scoring, but they will reassess over the season break to come back even stronger in Season 12.

In Their Words

Jake Hughes, Driver, Maserati MSG Racing: “This weekend has been pretty much, in a nutshell, our season capsulated in a weekend. We had very good pace all weekend, very good on energy today, very good strategy today, which I think we called really well, then unfortunately we got taken out by other cars. Completely out of our control, and I feel like this has happened at least six or seven times this year. It’s the end of the season now so there’s not another one to pick ourselves back up for. I’ll go into the off season with the knowledge that I have driven very well this year, and I know the team have done a very good job as well. We could have easily been sat here, right now, on at least double the points we have now. It’s frustrating that we couldn’t show what we could do this year because of situations our of our control. That’s racing, so I’ll go into the off season knowing I’ve been driving better than ever.”

Stoffel Vandoorne, Driver, Maserati MSG Racing: “It was a difficult one. We had front wing damage pretty early on so we had to pit to change the front nose. It was chaos at the front, everyone bumping into each other. With it being the last race of the year everyone was a bit hot headed, trying to achieve something. All the starts and stops that happen in the first few corners anyway, the road just stopped in front of me and it took the front wing off. From then on it was just hoping for a safety car to bunch up the field again. That happened, but even with that we struggled for pace, were involved in a messy fight. I was struggling to make a difference with the others. We got back to 12th and in the end it wasn’t good enough. It’s a shame to finish the season like that when we had such potential from the good qualifying.”

Cyril Blais, Team Principal, Maserati MSG Racing: “That’s the story of our season: what could have been. In the end, it didn’t materialise. A puncture for one car, forced to box and out of contention, and Stoffel had damage, somebody clipped his wing. We had to box both cars and with track position so crucial here that was the end of the fight. We weren’t rewarded for the hard work of the team this weekend. Glimpses of performance but not enough consistency this season. This doesn’t take anything away from the incredible hard work and dedication shown by the entire team throughout the season. We’re not where we wanted to be, and we will use that as motivation next year and try to push forwards.”

Maria Conti, Head of Maserati Corse: “After an intense year full of wonderful moments, such as the victory in Tokyo and the podium in Jeddah, along with other more challenging ones, we have ended our third season in Formula E aware that it has completed an important journey. We’ve learned many lessons and been more thorough in the transfer of technologies from the track to the road in the 100% electric Maserati Folgore range. We are also proud that we have furthered the Trident’s glorious trophy haul in motorsport. Maserati has almost a century of history in racing, and every race weekend is a new chapter for us to write. This season, we wanted to honour our racing heritage with passion, innovation and determination. The bond with our fans, especially here in London, has given us an extra boost and reminded us how strong Maserati’s identity is in the world of racing. A world that belongs to us and in which we will be celebrating our centenary next year.”

Championship Position // P8 [101 points]

The Report

It was a mixed day for Maserati MSG Racing as Stoffel Vandoorne put in a mega performance to secure fourth in the penultimate race of the season. Jake Hughes was unlucky to be unable to capitalise on a great qualifying after early contact took him out of the race.

Both Stoffel and Jake got into the grove of qualifying, clocking up great laps to progress into the duels. Having both taken part in Group B, they took P3/P4 with Stoffel ahead of Jake. Jake went up against Jaguar’s Mitch Evans in the quarter final, with Stoffel racing against Porsche’s Pascal Wehrlein. Neither were able to progress into the semi-finals, but their lap times gave them solid starting positions of seventh and eighth on the grid.

The plan of the race quickly went out the window for Jake who was tangled in a first lap incident. Pushed into the tight walls of the London ExCeL, what seemed to be light contact resulted in damage to Jake’s front suspension, ending his race before it had even begun.

The teams focus pooled on Stoffel. The timing of his Attack Modes and Pit Boost would be crucial to bringing home a strong result. The strategy was decided that the first Attack Mode would not be taken until the Pit Boost was complete, pairing the two to gain positions potentially lost in the stop. It worked well, with Stoffel coming out high in the group of early stoppers and lining himself up for a net P4.

Another late safety car came out, following the one that opened the race due to the incident Jake was involved in, threatening to undo the strategy work Maserati MSG Racing had done with Stoffel. He’d just activated his second four minutes of Attack Mode when the safety period was deployed, losing the last two minutes in the caution period. But Stoffel had done enough to fend off any attack Andretti’s Jake Dennis might have had in the dying moment to protect his fourth place. The shame of it was that he didn’t have a chance to push for the podium, but it was a solid drive from team and driver to bring home some well-deserved points.

The team and drivers are buoyed by the strong qualifying performance today, especially since it has been a weak point this season and is so important to a good result at the London ExCeL. With one race of Season 11 to go, they’ll be looking to repeat that performance tomorrow, keep Jake out of mid-pack incidents, and hopefully end the year with a podium finish.

In Their Words

Jake Hughes, Driver, Maserati MSG Racing: “It’s not becoming a reoccurring theme, it’s just the theme of the season now. Unfortunately, whether it’s a good day or bad day for pace, which today was a great day for pace, the bad luck seems to find me. Out of the race, no fault of my own, lap one, turn one. I can’t do anything about that, it is what it is. Just got one last day where hopefully all my back luck of the season can be turned off and I can get some good luck and finish at the front.”

Stoffel Vandoorne, Driver, Maserati MSG Racing: “On my side of the garage, it was a pretty good day. Qualifying went reasonably well with P7/8 for both cars. It was important to qualify at the front here to have a chance to fight for anything with the Pit Boost race. We managed the race quite well; the start almost went wrong, kind of got sandwiched between two cars and it was a bit scrappy in the first two corners. We recovered well, managed to save a bit of energy in the beginning and deployed it during the pit window. We were one of the earlier cars to pit and really deploy all the pace that we had, which was good because we were quite fast at that point. After the pit sequence, we found ourselves in fourth, and from then on it was just managing our own pace. There wasn’t really anything more to play for as guys in front were a little bit too far and behind there was no real threat. We just brought it home.”

Cyril Blais, Team Principal, Maserati MSG Racing: “On one side, we’re very happy with Stoffel. It was a very good execution of the race, made some good positions and got very close to the podium. That was very encouraging because the pace was decent and it was executed well by Stoffel and his team. We’re still lacking a bit of pace compared to Cassidy but that’s something we can improve for tomorrow. For Jake, it’s a real shame. Small contact at the start and his steering was off and he was unable to continue. The run of bad luck for Jake seems to run forever, but at some point it must turn. We have one more race tomorrow, so we can still put things right. I really believe we had the pace to have both cars in the points today, so that’s what we’ll be aiming for tomorrow.”

Maria Conti, Head of Maserati Corse: “London is always an intense stage. We came to this final weekend of the season with the right mentality and brought home important points with Stoffel today. On a circuit – so technical and iconic – that it is unforgiving and put all the teams to the test. This weekend every placing and every point is important, both for the team’s morale and for the final standings. In the first race of the London double-header, we confirmed our potential and strengthened the bond with our British fans ahead of Maserati’s upcoming centenary in motorsport. There is the bitterness for Jake’s race, which ended far too early, but we continue to look ahead with determination and ambition. We are now focused on the final round tomorrow. It will be really exciting to lower the visor on the starting grid at the ExCeL Circuit for the last race of the year. The London crowd is fantastic and we’re excited and eager to make the best of this final act of Formula E Season 11.”

The Report

It was a tough second race in Berlin for Maserati MSG Racing, leaving points on the track after a race that was focused on energy management didn’t play out the way the team was hoping for. Even though it was a strong strategy with the most likely chance of success, Jake Hughes and Stoffel Vandoorne struggled with pace and were unable to exploit the potential.

Qualifying showed the haul marks of a great session, with both drivers putting in lap times fast enough to get them through to the duels. Unfortunately for Jake, he suffered a brake failure during his final run. This not only pitched him into the tyre barrier, breaking his front suspension and ending any further participation in the session, but also resulted in the deletion of his fastest lap time due to a regulation when a driver causes a red flag. Stoffel topped the group and progressed through to the duels but the incident saw Jake start P11 on the grid when he had the pace to start higher.

Stoffel was against Oliver Rowland in his quarter final duel. It was a valiant effort, but the championship leader had the edge on him. He was second fastest of those relegated from the quarter finals, giving him a third row starting position.

Neither Jake nor Stoffel had a great start and the team decided the best strategy was to be on a long first stint, aiming to go into energy management for the first half of the race and try to pounce on anyone struggling with energy come the end of the race.

A couple of Safety Cars extended the race by three laps, and Jake and Stoffel tried to use their late Attack Modes to their advantage, but with everyone using them late the advantage was negated and progress up the field was difficult. Jake had a great, but a late Full Course Yellow stopped him from making it into the points at the chequered flag. A ten second penalty for Andretti’s Nico Mueller post-race moved Jake up to P10 to give him a point.

Maserati MSG Racing would like to express their congratulations to Oliver Rowland for securing his first FIA Formula E World Championship.

The final round of the season takes place in London with a double-header in two weeks’ time, where Maserati MSG Racing will give everything to end the season on a high.

In Their Words

Jake Hughes, Driver, Maserati MSG Racing: “It was a frustrating race in the end. It was a shame in the morning to have the brake failure that caused my crash. We were looking really strong, definitely in the duels and possibly fighting for pole. The guys and girls in the garage did a fantastic job to get me back out in time for the race. We left the garage with 30 seconds to spare before the pit lane closed for the race! It was a bit of a rush but the car felt rock solid, so that’s a massive credit to all the hard work from the team. The race was actually going very well. Arguably I was the strongest on energy and on the same strategy as the cars that finished on the podium, so I really believe I should have finished in the top five. Unfortunately, I think we mistimed our second Attack Mode, which in these races with the four-wheel drive now can be really detrimental. We got a point due to some penalties, but I really think we should have come away with a few more.”

Stoffel Vandoorne, Driver, Maserati MSG Racing: “Today was a difficult one. I think we were on the right strategy to save energy early on, build a massive delta to the guys in front, but unfortunately, we just lacked pace and had massive amounts of understeer. As soon as the pack accelerate, I just couldn’t make any moves and we didn’t really go anywhere. It was a real shame because we were looking quite good at some points and it really felt like we could capitalise and get some strong points with the duels performance and starting P6.”

Cyril Blais, Team Principal, Maserati MSG Racing: “Not the day we were hoping for. Overall, a disappointing weekend. We come back from a double header with just a single point which is very frustrating considering the potential we know we have. Today we had a good strategy, but the execution wasn’t great, which is something we’ll have to work on. One race weekend remains, and we’ll do what we can to end on a high to pull something strong out of the second half of the season.”

Maria Conti, Head of Maserati Corse: “Today’s race concludes the penultimate weekend of Season 11 in one of the main markets for Maserati, Germany. Every race weekend, as well as an opportunity to meet our customers, is a chance to learn lessons. Our goal throughout the current season is to optimise every round, compete with the best, and pass on Maserati’s performance-oriented DNA every time we take to the grid. We continue to come closer to next year’s big event, the Trident’s first 100 years in motor racing, and we’re ready to battle in the season finale in London, for what promises to be an adrenaline-packed final round and another step in the countdown to our celebrations.”

The Report

Rain fell heavily for the first race at the Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit, causing disruptions to the race programme. Both Jake Hughes and Stoffel Vandoorne put in valiant efforts for Maserati MSG Racing but unfortunately contact with other drivers out with their control ensured that the results were not reflective of their performances during the race.

Second practice was cancelled due to the adverse weather which was still hanging around come qualifying. The qualifying session was cut short, removing the duels portion and setting the grid on the group lap times. Whichever group held the overall fastest lap time would take pole, and that group would set the odd numbered side of the grid.

Both Jake and Stoffel were in Group B, and with track evolution high as the track dried slightly, the opportunity for a good result was there. Jake claimed P2 in Group B, Stoffel P6, and as Jaguar’s Mitch Evans took the fastest overall lap time in Group A, it meant they would line up P4 and P12 respectively.

Jake’s start wasn’t great as the lights went out, getting swarmed into Turn 1. He was lucky to get through the corner incident free, but he lost four positions, having to look for a way back up the grid. Stoffel’s start wasn’t too bad, but in the mid field he too was focused on survival. The track conditions were still damp, with rain hovering in the air, and off the racing line was still treacherous.

Jake and Stoffel took an early Attack Mode to try and make up positions, with their Pit Boost windows coming around halfway through the race. Abt Lola’s David Beckman had an incident just after the Pit Boost windows which brought out the Safety Car. With an Attack Mode left each, Jake and Stoffel were looking in a good place to push on for points, both eyeing up top five finishes.

Most of the top five dove in for their Attack Mode, moving Jake up to podium contention. Porsche’s Antonio Felix da Costa got his Attack Mode exit wrong, tagging the back of Jake and spinning him around. He was able to continue, but that put an end to his top five charge, falling out of points contention next lap as he took his final Attack Mode. Da Costa was given a time penalty for causing the collision, but the damage was done to Jake’s race.

There was a similar fate in store for Jake’s team mate Stoffel who was spun around by Nissan’s Oliver Rowland at the same point in the race. Rowland was passing another car in Turn 6 when he lost it on the wet part of the track and careered into the side of Stoffel. He too was able to continue, but with the pack still bunched after the Safety Car it sent him to the back of the field. Despite a valiant fight back with Attack Mode, he was unable to get back into a scoring position.

Maserati MSG Racing go again tomorrow for the second race in Berlin and will hope to be back in a position to fight for points when the chequered flag falls at Templehof.
In Their Words

Jake Hughes, Driver, Maserati MSG Racing: “Today was a tale of two halves. We were very strong in qualifying, getting P2 in group which meant we started P4. I felt really comfortable with the car and I think if we hadn’t been first to cross the line on the drying track we could have challenged for pole, if not definitely the fastest in group. It was really positive heading into the race, and I felt like we were in a good position to fight for points, if not a podium. Unfortunately, the pace we had in qualifying wasn’t there in the race, we struggled with tyre grip, especially in the wet part of the race at the start. It did put us on the back foot, but the race came back to us after the second Safety Car. We were P6/7 with seven laps to go, still good on energy, and I felt like I could push for a top five finish. Sadly, I got spun around by another car and that was basically game over from a point scoring position. It was a shame, but we have another chance tomorrow to go again. Hopefully we can be as good in the race as we were in qualy.”

Stoffel Vandoorne, Driver, Maserati MSG Racing: “We had an unfortunate end to the race. It was quite lonely at the start, before Pit Boost, and I quickly found myself fighting with Jake again along with Ticktum and Barnard. We played that game for a bit, joined up again after the Pit Boost, but still I had an Attack to take which gave me an advantage. Especially when the Safety Car came out towards the end of the race as it bunched the field back together. We had a great opportunity to make up some ground again, but unfortunately, I got t-boned by Rowland that dropped me right back to the back and ruined my chances. I know it wasn’t his intention to hit me, but it was probably a bit misjudged from him in wet conditions. If you look where Mortara and Barnard finished – the drivers I was fighting with before the spin – third and fifth, it gives an indication of where I could have finished. Top five would have been a nice finish to a tricky day. The wet gives very dynamic conditions and, as a team and driver, you have to be able to adapt to that. Looks like tomorrow is going to be a bit wet again so let’s see what we can do.”

Cyril Blais, Team Principal, Maserati MSG Racing: “Qualifying was decent. Jake did a really good job and we were a bit unlucky that he didn’t get another lap in, just crossing the chequered flag one second too late. The pace was strong in Group B, so to get P2, starting P4 was very good. Stoffel struggled a little bit more and I do think he had more potential, but we have some idea what we could have done differently for him moving forward. Still P12 was starting just outside the points, and we know qualifying isn’t as important here as it is at other tracks, so we were confident of a double point result.

“For the race, it was tricky from the start. Both cars lost positions when the lights went out which compromised our strategies, but we knew it was a long race where a lot could – and did – happen. We switched to an energy focused strategy, looking after our energy at the start knowing that it would get difficult for our competitors towards the end. When the Safety Car came towards the end of the race we were in a good position. Energy was good, Stoffel had an Attack Mode left in the top five, Jake was comfortably in the top seven. I believed we could have challenged for a podium with Stoffel and strong points with Jake, but it was another race of could’ve, would’ve, should’ve. We come back with zero points, and it’s very frustrating with all the hard work everyone put in and all the potential we showed. We go again tomorrow, so we’ll dig deep tonight and look to turn things around in the second race.”

Maria Conti, Head of Maserati Corse: “Berlin proved to be an unpredictable circuit. Every round is a real challenge and an opportunity to learn something, taking with us fundamental lessons to be implemented both on the track and in our product range through a transfer of technologies. Today, we faced challenges, but we remain united. With three races still to go, we continue to work with determination to end the season in the best possible way. We are already focused on tomorrow’s race and will continue our journey towards Maserati’s centenary in motorsport with renewed confidence and ambition.”

Maserati MSG Racing ready for penultimate round of the FIA Formula E World Championship

Berlin hosts double header as the conclusion to Season 11 edges closer.

Race Stats
Lap Length [KM] // 2.345
Lap Record // 1:02.972 (Norman Nato, 2024)
Best Finish // 1st (Norman Nato, 2021//Edoardo Mortara, 2022)

The race to the end of the season is on, with just four rounds remaining in the 2024/25 FIA Formula E championship. The final races have only a week between them, starting this weekend with a double header at the Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit.

The heat of Jakarta did not play in favour for the team last time out, with both cars unable to finish the race. Maserati MSG Racing has been working hard in the three week break to make sure the Maserati Tipo Folgore is performing at its peak to round off the season strong. The nature of the Berlin circuit should suit the Maserati challenger, bringing back the competitive potential the team, Jake Hughes and Stoffel Vandoorne know the car has.

Past results for the team in Berlin feature multiple victories and podiums demonstrating that the team knows how to be quick around the old airport. The bumpy track surface and the high and low speed corner variations make this race a tough one, not only on the cars and drivers but tyres as well. With a modified layout from last year and Saturday’s race seeing the return of Pit Boost, nailing the strategy and optimal tyre temperature is going to be imperative to success.

The Berlin E-Prix is always an exciting one because it brings with it the Rookie Test, inviting emerging young talents a chance to get some precious seat time in a Formula E car and providing the teams with the chance to get some real, on-track data outside of a race event. Maserati MSG Racing will be fielding Arthur Leclerc and Théo Pourchaire for the test session, two promising young drivers keen to showcase their abilities.

In Their Words

Jake Hughes, Driver, Maserati MSG Racing
“I’m really looking forward to going racing in Berlin. It’s always a great race for the fans to watch with plenty of overtaking, energy management, and a technically impressive track. Qualifying is always important, but here it’s on the lower side of importance with plenty of overtaking opportunities. Especially when comparing this track to somewhere like Jakarta. We’ll obviously do our best, but knowing our qualifying performance hasn’t been the greatest this season, it helps take some of the pressure off knowing we still have a chance wherever we start. I haven’t had the most competitive car at this track for the past two years, and the Maserati Tipo Folgore suits the circuit well, so fingers crossed I’ll be able to have a great weekend and fight at the front, as is always the goal.”

Stoffel Vandoorne, Driver, Maserati MSG Racing
“The final couple of races of the season are coming up, and we’re into another double header in Berlin. Historically it’s been quite a good track for me so hopefully we can keep that up. The track layout is a tiny bit different, a little bit faster than last year which is going to make the energy management quite complex. A lot of strategy is going to be involved during the two races. As a team, we’ll focus on executing a clean weekend, really look to finish the season on a high.”

Cyril Blais, Team Principal, Maserati MSG Racing
“It’s always a pleasure to go back to Berlin, and this year we’re hoping to bounce back after a tricky weekend in Jakarta. Berlin will be slightly different with a small variant on the track layout to last year. Hopefully this will bring a new element to the weekend, especially in the double header where we have Pit Boost in the first race. Normally Berlin provides very exciting, close races, so the strategy will be a key part of a successful weekend.

“We have a lot of things we’d like to test on Monday, which is quite difficult to do over a race weekend when you’re competing with track evolution. To be able to test after a race weekend is a perfect way to answer some of the questions you have during the race weekend. It also gives us good preparation for next year. We have some elements in the background that we’ll develop through the off season, so this test gives us a chance to get them on track and see how the concepts are performing. It will be a critical test for the car, but also a great marker for the competitive level of some emerging drivers. We have very high expectations [of Leclerc and Pourchaire] and we’re sure they can deliver, testing items and helping develop the car as well as being able to showcase their talent.”

Marla Conti, Head of Maserati Corse
“We’re back in Berlin with great determination on a historic circuit for Formula E that has been part of the series schedule since the first time it was run. It guarantees a great show with plenty of overtaking. This was where the Trident climbed to our first podium at the 2023 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship with the Maserati Tipo Folgore and we now want to continue to build on those foundations. With four races to go in the season, every point is crucial. Our goal is clear: to maximise performance, remain in the leading group and honour the run-up to Maserati’s centenary in motorsport.”

Maserati MSG Racing Confirms Line-Up for Berlin Rookie Test

Emerging talent returns to the team as Arthur Leclerc and Théo Pourchaire prepare for the FIA Formula E rookie test in Berlin

Maserati MSG Racing is pleased to welcome back Arthur Leclerc and Théo Pourchaire for the official FIA Formula E World Championship rookie test, on July 14 at Templehof in Berlin.

Offering a glimpse into the next generation of racing talent, the duo will represent the team behind the wheel of the Maserati Tipo Folgore in the one-day test that immediately follows the double-header Berlin E-Prix weekend on July 12/13. Berlin marks the penultimate race weekend of the season ahead of the double-header finale in London later in the month.

French 2023 Formula 2 Champion Théo previously impressed during the rookie FP0 session in Jeddah and now returns to the Maserati MSG Racing fold with further opportunity to demonstrate his skill and gain experience behind the wheel of the Gen3 Evo.

Monégasque native Arthur, meanwhile, rejoins the team with strong historic ties, having been part of the family during the team’s time as Venturi Racing. Arthur originally joined the team as a development driver in 2017, progressing to test and reserve driver roles for the 2019-2020 season. He also participated in the Formula E rookie test in Marrakech in 2019.

Their selection reflects Maserati MSG Racing’s ongoing commitment to nurturing talent, reinforcing the team’s vision for future competitiveness. As a former Formula E rookie, current Maserati MSG Racing driver, Jake Hughes is proof that these opportunities have a genuine role to play in promoting the next generation of racing drivers.

This season, Maserati MSG Racing has demonstrated front-running pace, with Jake Hughes securing the third spot on the podium in Saudi Arabia and Stoffel Vandoorne claiming a memorable victory in Tokyo. The team’s results underline a strong foundation as it continues to push for excellence both on and off the track.

In Their Words

Cyril Blais, Team Principal, Maserati MSG Racing:“We’re delighted to welcome both Théo and Arthur back to the team for the Berlin rookie test. Théo made a strong impression during the FP0 session in Jeddah, and Arthur’s past involvement with the team during our time as Venturi Racing gives him a great foundation to build on. Rookie tests are a vital part of Formula E – not just for showcasing the next wave of talent, but also for gathering valuable data to support our development ahead of the season finale in London. We’re looking forward to seeing what both drivers can deliver.”

Arthur Leclerc:“It feels good to be back in Formula E, especially with my home team. It will be the first time that I will drive the Gen3 Evo so I am looking forward to seeing the evolution compared to the previous generation that I tested a few years ago. I want to give a big thank you to Maserati MSG Racing for the opportunity and I can’t wait to start working with the team in Berlin!”

Théo Pourchaire: “I’m really excited to be back with Maserati MSG Racing for the rookie test in Berlin. Driving the Gen3 Evo in Jeddah was an incredible experience, and I learned a lot from the team. Formula E is such a unique and challenging championship, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to get more seat time and continue learning in this environment.”

Simon Amor
