29 FEBRUARY 2020, MARRAKESH, MOROCCO – Mahindra Racing headed to Marrakesh for the fifth round of the 2019/20 ABB FIA Formula E Championship, which took place today. After winning the race in the past two seasons with Felix Rosenqvist (2018) and Jérôme D’Ambrosio (2019), the team headed to its happy hunting ground in search of a hat-trick. Unfortunately, it was not to be this season and the squad’s pairing of D’Ambrosio and Pascal Wehrlein finished in 13th and 22nd respectively.

Jérôme qualified today in seventh position, just missing out on Super Pole. He had a good initial start when the lights went out for the beginning of the Marrakesh E-Prix, moving up to fifth on the first corner, but then as the pack battled on the opening lap he moved down to tenth. He ran as high as ninth place but lost positions in the closing laps and crossed the line in 13th.

After showing good pace in practice, Pascal had to settle for a 16th place qualifying position after he made a mistake on his lap. He was promoted to 15th after Robin Frijns was handed a post-session penalty. He drove well and made several overtakes to start moving forward in the race, but then a rear left puncture set his fate and he was forced to pit for a tyre change. Emerging at the back, there was little else he could do and he finished in 22nd. In the latter stages of the race he set the fastest lap, but this is only deemed valid if the driver scores a top ten finish.

DS Techeetah’s Antonio Felix Da Costa won today’s Marrakesh E-Prix, with BMW’s Maximilian Günther second and Da Costa’s team-mate Jean-Eric Vergne was third.

Two weeks on from a race described as one of Formula E’s most unpredictable – the Mexico City E-Prix – the championship returned to Marrakesh, visiting the Circuit International Automobile Moulay El Hassan for the fourth successive season.

As a circuit that has not traditionally favoured ROKiT Venturi Racing, Edoardo Mortara and Felipe Massa made important progress in practice en route to qualifying. Obtaining a place in Super Pole, Edo secured P5 while braking issues relegated Felipe to P22.

Securing a strong start to the fifth race of the season, Edo maintained P5 on the opening tour while Felipe moved forward to P18, overtaking Oliver Turvey and Daniel Abt after starting from P20.

While braking issues continued to impact Felipe throughout the race, Edo was locked in a close fight with Jean-Eric Vergne, Sebastien Buemi and Andre Lotterer to run as high as P4.

Holding on in a nail-biting finish to the race, Edo took P5 at the chequered flag to record 10 hard-fought championship points while Felipe recorded P17.

“Today we saw Edo deliver a strong performance. There were times during the race that we struggled but Formula E is all about scoring points and to finish P5 after starting there is a good result. Felipe experienced braking issues over the course of the weekend which impacted his performance and there are still some things that we have to analyse. Tomorrow’s in-season rookie test provides this opportunity and hopefully, we can rectify these issues for the next race of the season.”

“I’m proud of our performance today. The weekend didn’t start very well for us and we had to adjust a few things from practice. We qualified well and we had good pace during the race. I got into some on-track fights which cost me some energy but to finish P5 is very positive. Despite scoring some good points, we need to remain grounded as we look ahead to the next race of the season where I hope we can maintain our current form.”

Felipe Massa
“Issues under braking really harmed my weekend. I had front locking throughout which meant that I was not able to stop the car in the right way. From here, I couldn’t take the optimum line through corners and sometimes I did not make the corner. We need to analyse the car because it felt very different here compared to other races this season. If we can understand the issue, I’m confident that we can score good points in the coming races.”

25 FEBRUARY 2020 – Mahindra Racing and Automobili Pininfarina are delighted to announce the strengthening of their partnership as they commit to developing new technologies aimed at advancing the world of high-performance electric mobility. The two companies will collaborate on the transfer of motorsport principles and technologies from the race track to the road, in order for Automobili Pininfarina to produce the most sustainable and luxurious electric vehicles in the world.

Automobili Pininfarina, owned by Mahindra and Mahindra, was officially launched in April 2018 at the Rome E-Prix, laying down the foundations of the link between the world’s premiere single-seater electric racing series and the world’s newest luxury electric car company. Automobili Pininfarina, which has European bases in Italy and Germany, laid out its plans to develop a sustainable luxury car range starting with the limited-edition Battista pure-electric hypercar.

The sharing of technology between the two companies will cover programmes and components including simulation and energy use, composites, the powertrain and cooling systems. They will also be sharing resources in areas including wind tunnel work, suppliers and personnel, including the Mahindra Racing Formula E race drivers. This is in addition to the work already being done by former driver Nick Heidfeld, who is now the Development Driver with Automobili Pininfarina.

Mahindra Racing is a founding team – and the only Indian team – to compete in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, the world’s first all-electric street racing series. Mahindra Racing has an impressive stats sheet and is a multi-race winning outfit after scoring its breakthrough victory at the Berlin E-Prix in 2017. The squad is committed not only to pushing the limits of technology and innovation in the electric vehicle space, but to addressing the impact of climate change; it is the only Formula E team to be awarded the FIA Environmental Accreditation Two-Star rating.

「滙豐世界七人欖球系列賽」之「挑戰者系列賽」第二站      港隊奪烏拉圭站季軍

 [2020年2月24日,香港]  香港男子七人欖球代表隊在「滙豐世界七人欖球系列賽」之「挑戰者系列賽」(World Rugby HSBC Sevens Challenger Series) 第二站次日賽事,雖然未能派遺強陣,但仍傾盡全力晉身銅牌戰和奪得季軍。

經過首日賽事後,靴貝特( Liam Herbert)倦勤下令港隊只能派出11人應戰。

傳接鋒荷迪(Jamie Hood)在八強對意大利居功至偉,在完場前3秒達陣助香港獲得17-14 的勝利。但荷迪亦因此受傷,令港隊只能以10人在四強賽鬥有主場之利的烏拉圭。

烏拉圭上半場兩度達陣,並以嚴密防守凍結港隊的攻勢,在香港錯失了上半場末段的黃金入球機會後,烏拉圭最後以 12-0勝出和晉身決賽 。



香港主教練莊保羅( Paul John)對向烏拉圭稱臣一役感到失望,但整體而言滿意球隊南美之行的表現,他說:「 這旅途十分艱辛,連續應付兩個賽事和花了40小時的旅程才抵埗。」





他續說:「今戰對我們十分重要。我們首日一帆風順直至失意於四強賽。我們曾經在這些處境下掙扎重新振作。該10名絲毫無損的球員表現十分優秀,隊長禾獲特(Max Woodward)和韋兆新( Russ Russell Webb)今趟旅程幾乎每場賽事都打足全場。」

「滙豐世界七人欖球系列賽」之「挑戰者系列賽」第二站      港隊在烏拉圭表現出色晉身銀盃八強 

 [2020222日,香港 香港男子七人欖球代表隊繼挺身上週的「滙豐世界七人欖球系列賽」之「挑戰者系列賽」(World Rugby HSBC Sevens Challenger Series) 首站賽事決賽後,港隊在烏拉圭的第二站持續有好表現,並於週六闖入銀盃八強。



香港主帥莊保羅(Paul John)今個次人腳較智利站作出3個變動,點名了3名明日之星丹馬克(Max Denmark)、拜恩(Seb Brien)和史戴爾斯(Hugo Stiles),代替高凡迪爾(Mike Coverdale)、麥堅力(Alex McQueen)和黎萬利(Ben Rimene)。

香港首戰談笑用兵下以 41-5擊敗巴西 ,保確特(Kane Boucaut)維持了智利站的出色演出。 



香港第二戰遇上在首戰擊退烏拉圭的牙買加 。香港近幾次與牙買加交手都是硬仗勝出,但港隊今場以清脆表現克服對手。


香港耐心地收復失地,馬金首(Raef Morrison)的帽子戲法助港隊半場反先 17-7 姚錦成和史戴爾斯下半場建功,香港輕鬆地以 31-7勝出。




烏干達下半場達陣兩次收窄分差,但靴貝特(Liam Herbert11分鐘的達陣鎖定38-12的勝果。

同日其他戰況方面,上站不敵德國的日本今次首戰輕取持外卡的巴拉圭71-5 並取得C組首名。經過首日賽事後,日本和香港的火力傲視群雄,分別攻入123 分和110 分,得失分差更達+96 +84

Rising stars to drive in upcoming rookie test on March 1st

A Logical Choice

ROKiT Venturi Racing is pleased to confirm that Norman Nato and Arthur Leclerc will form its driver line-up for the upcoming Formula E rookie test in Marrakesh.

Following on from their confirmation as Reserve and Test Drivers for Season 6, the team’s ongoing support for the Franco-Monegasque pairing is an endorsement of their continued progression.

A Chance to Advance

As the only in-season session of its kind, the rookie test is a key opportunity for development and will play a vital role in the continued refinement of the team’s Season 6 package.

Despite having previously comprised the team’s rookie test line-up in Season 5, this season’s edition gives Norman and Arthur a fresh opportunity, as they take the wheel of the Silver Arrow 01 for the first time, contributing to their own personal advancement.

“Norman and Arthur continue to impress in the simulator back at base in Monaco and the running that both will complete in Marrakesh next week will be invaluable to the second half of our season. 「滙豐世界七人欖球系列賽」之「挑戰者系列賽」    香港晉身挑戰者系列賽首站銀盃決賽

 [2020217日,香港 香港男子七人欖球代表隊在「滙豐世界七人欖球系列賽」之「挑戰者系列賽」(World Rugby HSBC Sevens Challenger Series)首站賽事,於銀盃決賽以0-10向德國稱臣,但仍有機會晉身「滙豐世界七人欖球系列賽」。


德國在四強小勝日本12-5 ,香港在四強戰一度落後東道主智利14分,奮戰下反勝對手17-14晉級決賽。

姚錦城完半場前為港隊破蛋,馬金首(Raef Morrison)和保確特(Kane Boucaut)易邊後亦建功, 在四強氣走主隊。港隊在同日的八強戰憑利維尼(Jack Neville)上下半場各達陣一次,以10-7擊敗烏干達。

港隊長途跋涉40小時到南美洲參賽,克服不利因素下挺身決賽 ,可惜失望地於決賽以0-10不敵德國,在雙方的七人和十五人欖球交戰史上再添新仇舊恨。

港隊主帥莊保羅(Paul John)對決賽感到苦樂參半,但亦以球隊今週的表現為榮,他說:「我們滿意整體演出。我們殺入決賽和奪得亞軍,這亦是我們每次參賽的目標之一,但再次飲恨決賽總不是味兒。」


香港和德國在上半場各有不少得分良機,而德軍在完半場前率先達陣,加上牢固防守和受惠多個罰球,令港隊的多次攻勢無功而還。德國在9分鐘將比分擴至10-0 ,而香港最終未能破蛋。




他說:「部份球員連續兩日應付6場硬仗後身心俱疲。我們在亞洲系列賽一般只有5場賽事,所以我們已有一段時間沒有這麼忙碌。 日本習以為常,但我相信我們與日本是唯一有經驗應付連續兩站賽事,而且這兩站的回報豐厚。」

[2020年2月16日,香港]  香港男子七人欖球代表隊正身處智利的聖地亞哥(Santiago)參加全新的「滙豐世界七人欖球系列賽」之「挑戰者系列賽」(World Rugby HSBC Sevens Challenger Series),於小組賽取得三戰全勝。


港隊有16名球員隨團,並在週五決選出最後12人名單,包括禾獲特(Max Woodward)、高凡迪爾(Mike Coverdale)、保確特(Kane Boucaut)、馬金首(Raef Morrison)、芬尼(Toby Fenn)、李卡度、韋兆新(Russ Webb)、荷迪(Jamie Hood)、麥堅力(Alex McQueen)、靴貝特(Liam Herbert)、利維尼(Jack Neville)和姚錦成。



從「奧運外圍賽」訓練時顎骨碎裂康復過來的馬金首狀態十足,他對巴布亞新畿內亞時上半場梅開二度,助港隊半場領先24-0,最後以 36-0 勝出。

曾經在「奧運外圍賽」前的熱身賽,「Chester七人賽」(Chester Sevens)成為香港手下敗將的牙買加,再次成為港隊的心腹大患。

麥堅力在3分鐘的達陣為港隊先拔頭籌,以7-0領先,隊友馬金首在完半場前領黃,令港隊以六人應戰。在以寡敵眾下港隊憑嚴密防守令對手未能越雷池半步,馬金首刑滿復出即達陣將功補過,擴大優勢至 14-0。牙買加雖然在11分鐘回敬一球,但無阻香港保持勝果和以B組首名出線。

港隊小組賽三戰共攻下 76 分。牙買加亦是唯一在小組賽中攻破港隊防線的對手,但同組以次名出線的巴布亞新畿內亞也順利晉級八強。

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (February 14, 2020) – BMW i has today announced its extended partnership as official vehicle partner of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, continuing to supply Formula E with an extensive fleet of course cars at every race.
As a founding partner of Formula E, the continued collaboration was confirmed at an event held ahead of the CBMM Mexico City E-Prix, to present the striking new design and colour scheme of the BMW i8 safety car.
The updated livery – which will make its debut on track in Mexico City this weekend – was unveiled by Jamie Reigle, Chief Executive Officer of Formula E, Pia Schoerner, Head of BMW Motorsport Marketing, internationally renowned influencer Brooklyn Beckham, together with Dr. Andreas Aumann, Vice President BMW i Product, eMobility.
With the renewed partnership beyond the current season, the German manufacturer will continue to equip Formula E with a fleet of BMW i safety vehicles, including the new-look safety car, race director car, medical car and rescue car.
As well as supplying circuit course cars, BMW i branded vehicles will also remain an important part of the enhanced Formula E fan and guest programme, with passenger laps enabling fans to experience the thrill and excitement of electric cars at every E-Prix.

[2020214日,香港]  香港男子七人欖球代表隊正身處智利的聖地亞哥(Santiago)參加全新的「滙豐世界七人欖球系列賽」之「挑戰者系列賽」(World Rugby HSBC Sevens Challenger Series)。

港隊主帥莊保羅(Paul John)挑選了12名全部符合今年6月「奧運次輪外圍賽」資格的精兵赴會。經驗豐富的禾獲特(Max Woodward)、黎萬利(Ben Rimene)、高凡迪爾(Michael Coverdale)、李卡度、荷迪(Jamie Hood)、姚錦成、麥堅力(Alex McQueen),以及後起之秀丹馬克(Max Denmark)、史戴爾斯(Hugo Stiles)、拜恩(Seb Brien)和靴貝特(Liam Herbert),皆曾參加之前假仁川舉行的「奧運外圍賽」。

今次榜上有名的還有上年11月訓練時受傷而缺席仁川之行的馬金首(Raef Morrison)、影響力十足的利維尼(Jack Neville),以及技術型前鋒保確特(Kane Boucaut)和芬尼(Toby Fenn)。

16支參賽球隊會師智利城市比尼亞德爾馬 (Mar del Vina),當中8隊曾參加去年 「國泰航空/滙豐香港國際七人欖球賽」的男子外圍賽,包括東道主智利、香港、德國、牙買加、東加、烏干達、烏拉圭和津巴布韋,而這8隊中有7支亦將於今夏在法國舉行的「奧運次輪外圍賽」亮相。






B 組首名將與C組(德國、烏干達、意大利和巴拉圭)次名在週日的8強賽碰頭。

香港的同組對手有熟悉的巴布亞新畿內亞和曾在上年秋季的「Chester 七人賽」(Chester Sevens)擊敗的牙買加,以及首次參賽的哥倫比亞。

「國泰航空/滙豐香港國際七人欖球賽2020」 押後至10月舉行

[2020213日,香港]: 香港欖球總會(欖總)和國際欖球理事會(World Rugby) 今日宣佈「國泰航空/滙豐香港國際七人欖球賽2020」將延期舉行。原定於今年4月3日至5日上演的賽事,將押後至同年10月16日至18日。



國際欖球理事會已確定10月的「香港國際七人欖球賽」將是「滙豐世界七人欖球系列賽2019 / 2020」賽季的煞科站。「滙豐世界七人欖球系列賽2020 / 2021」香港站將如常在4月舉行。

欖總行政總裁麥偉彬(Robbie McRobbie)表示:「我們有信心改期至10月的第45屆『國泰航空/滙豐香港國際七人欖球賽』將別具特色,我們熱切期待世界各地球迷來港享受賽事。」

「畢馬威女子欖球超級聯賽季後總決賽」    華利封后 九龍「下區」摘桂

[2020年2月12日,香港]  聯賽盟主法興銀行華利女子欖球會(華利)在「畢馬威女子欖球超級聯賽」季後總決賽冠軍戰中,以36-15輕取Borrelli Walsh三軍會猛虎欖球會(猛虎),勇奪「上區」錦標外,今季更錄得14連勝的彪炳戰績。這亦是華利自2017/18 賽季以來的首個季後總決賽錦標,她們今季攻守皆銳,攻入605分,平均每場43分,並只失守40分,每場賽事平均被罰少於1個罰球。

華利在上季後總決賽冠軍不敵猛虎,今次不敢再掉以輕心,甫開賽便全力出擊,單單在上半場已取得24-0 的優勢。

3度奪得季後總決賽殊榮的華利球員兼教練美露(Bella Milo)說:「我們開局理想是關鍵。」「我們在自己半場令猛虎動彈不得和破壞她們的節奏。我們對自己的部署信心十足,利用踢球來擴大版圖和在對手半場展開攻勢,並且全場80分鐘都能保持行軍速度。」

這支新鮮出爐聯賽冠軍的表現無懈可擊,當中高雅迪(Olivia Coady)的演出八面玲瓏,上半場多番撕開猛虎的防線,更在3分鐘的突破造就隊友歌地婭麥明金(Claudia McMeekin) 達陣。華利在13分鐘後再下一城, 今次輪到季中傷癒復出的顧明雅(Nadia Cuvelier)得手,助華利領先至10-0。

一眾猛虎悍將如高香慧(Natasha Olson-Thorne)、藍嘉敏、華蓮絲( Lindsay Varty)和歐陽倩怡雖然拚命防守,但仍阻擋不了 高雅迪的威脅。猛虎的零星攻擊曾深入華利腹地,可惜受制於華利的嚴密防守而無功而還 。縱然猛虎積極防守,始終未能完全封鎖華利的全部攻勢,並在完半場前再兩度失守。

夏妲耶(Tanya Dhar)和美露先後建功,加上蘇兒史密夫(Zoe Smith)射入兩個附加罰球,華利挾24-0 返回更衣室。



高雅迪四處撲滅猛虎的火頭,防止對手死灰復燃,之後在防守球員夾擊下,仍憑一己之力取得達陣,加上蘇兒史密夫的射門,華利擴大差距至31-5 。


雖然猛虎無力回天,卻沒有提早宣佈投降並繼續進攻,林芷欣和歐陽倩怡分別建功,將最終賽果寫成15-36 。

九龍技壓鳳凰 勇奪「下區」后冠

香港七人隊新丁西門紫玉( Florence Symonds)在28分鐘達陣為九龍先拔頭籌,唐羅珊娜(Rosanna Down)射入額外兩分,合力助母會半場領先 7-0。鳳凰的曾少青在下半場扳回一球,連同錢寶寶的附加罰球,雙方在完場前30分鐘打成平手。

九龍的耶芘瑪(Anjelika Ybema)在68分鐘打破僵局,可惜未能射入附加罰球,九龍領先 12-7並成功一直保持賽果至完場。

九龍主帥薜賓達(Terry Sibanda) 很滿意奪冠而回並說:「這是我們的重大勝利。鳳凰曾3度擊倒我們,但我軍今仗戰意高昂,並堅決要在決賽攀越這道高牆。」「我們的防守很稱職,成功在達陣線上阻止對手越雷池半步,亦令敵軍的前鋒們手忙腳亂。」

「盛寶金融本地男子超級欖球聯賽」    季後總決賽加時分高下 港會封王實現三冠霸業

[2020年2月11日,香港] 今季的季後總決賽冠軍戰要到加時階段才分出勝負,應屆「盛寶金融本地男子超級欖球聯賽」冠軍 – Natixis香港足球會(港會)與法興銀行華利欖球會(華利)要鬥足95分鐘和9個罰球,才能揭曉結果。

港會的當家射手佳恩曉士(Glyn Hughes)在加時下半場未段射入今仗第5個罰球,一併為母會鎖定勝利兼實現三冠夢,港會早前已奪得「超聯挑戰盃」和聯賽錦標。

港會今年3次較華利棋高一著才能將這些錦標據為己有,今仗也是這兩支快活谷宿敵的季內旗鼓相當的交手之一,佳恩曉士今戰7罰5中,反而華利的首席劊子手黎萬利(Ben Rimene)只命中4次,亦是今仗的勝負分野。


港會的湯馬士史丹利(Tom Stanley)接應曉湯姆(Tom Hill)的傳送而突破成功,這達陣黃金機會卻被華利的杜保萊(Ruan Duplooy)奮不顧身攔截下來,剛好在達陣線上阻止對手得逞。




落後的華利開始失去耐性,屢將控球拱手讓人,而且港會的防守並沒有鬆懈,當中高勳(Jevon Groves)身先士卒,其拚命攔截足跡遍野。港會在70鐘獲得罰球機會,可是佳恩曉士在壓力下射偏,未能擴大領先優勢。



賽事進入加時下半場,港會的賓布蘭(Ben Axten-Burrett)[下半場曾因向前傳球而令達陣被判無效]成攻突破華利的防線至對手的22碼區,華利手忙腳亂的防守犯規,佳恩曉士冷靜地射入黃金罰球奠定勝局。

港會主帥韋堅斯(Jack Wiggins)識英雄重英雄,他讚揚華利的英勇演出:「賽事一如我們預料般難分難解。華利和安祖基利(Andrew Kelly)今季的付出令人敬佩,他們令今戰變得更加緊湊。」


韋堅斯認為嚴密防守是致勝關鍵並道:「我們對防守信心十足,大家對嚴謹的防務要求習以為常,這是我們過去幾季所投入心思的成果。」 「我們今季常將三冠目標掛在嘴邊,可能有些球隊也訂立同樣目標,但我們的爭勝心堅定不移。希望這會為我們立下了未來5年的標準,但我們現在先要慶祝一番。」

「畢馬威女子欖球超級聯賽季後總決賽」    冠軍大戰一觸即發

[2020年2月7日,香港]  本週六的「畢馬威女子欖球超級聯賽」季後總決賽冠軍爭霸戰將有兩場決戰,聯賽盟主法興銀行華利女子欖球會(華利)與Borrelli Walsh三軍會猛虎欖球會(猛虎)爭奪「上區」錦標,而香港嘉里酒店九龍欖球會(九龍)則與南華會銅鑼灣鳳凰欖球會(鳳凰)競逐「下區」殊榮。所有賽事將於下午3時假京士柏運動場鳴笛。







華利球員兼教練美露( Bella Milo)認為球隊要回憶之前的好表現來幫助爭勝,她說:「信任是明天的關鍵。我們要如今季以來般保持對部署和隊友的信任。」




九龍上仗以5-14不敵鳳凰而未能染指聯賽冠軍,但教頭泰利薜賓達(Terry Sibanda)滿意球隊今季的進步,並說:「我們季初以前四為目標和避免降班。我們的陣容仍需時間作新舊磨合,因此這些任務更為艱辛。 」「雖然未能晉身前四,但我們來季已肯定再戰超聯組別,另外我們提拔了10名17歲球員,以及從暑期班發掘了8名新人,其中3人今季更接受了超聯組別的洗禮。」

[2020年2月7日,香港] 法興銀行華利欖球會(華利)將於明日的季後總決賽冠軍戰對應屆「盛寶金融本地男子超級欖球聯賽」冠軍 – Natixis香港足球會(港會)火力全開,賽事將於明日(京士柏運動場,下午5時)上演。



華利連續6屆季後總決賽封王斷纜後極希望重振聲威,今仗也是主帥安祖基利(Andrew Kelly) 轉執蘇格蘭球隊 Heriot帥印前與華利的最後探戈,球隊上下皆想以獎座歡送這名勞苦功高的教頭。

安祖基利是前蘇格蘭青年軍代表,他在2012 年至2017年執掌華利期間連續6次勇奪季後總決賽殊榮。他首季更以隊長身份與球隊並肩作戰和成為「雙冠王」,翌年他再協助母會奪得季後總決賽錦標,第3季以球員兼教練身份扶助艾積克(Jack Isaac),他之後以主帥身份再捧盃3次。

華利總經理曉臣(Nick Hewson)是喼帽最多的港將之一,並曾與安祖基利在綠茵場上共同抗敵,他對安祖基利的優秀履歷讚賞有嘉,並說:「他當然是最出色的本地球會教練之一。」







「我和太太這8年視香港為另一個家。我們雖然捨不得離開,但也很期待新挑戰的來臨。」安祖基利完成率領華利的最後任務後,便立即向Heriot 報到和為新東家下週五的賽事領軍。

傑志於亞協盃2020附加賽的對手為外圍賽勝方台電足球隊(中華台北) /烏蘭巴托城(蒙古),賽事採兩回合制,若傑志成功擊敗對手將可晉身亞協盃2020 (分組賽-I組),同組對手為和富大埔(香港)、大同(中華台北)、澳科鄒北記(澳門)。

「盛寶金融本地男子超級欖球聯賽」   季後總決賽冠軍戰    華利港會再狹路相逢

[202024香港] 「盛寶金融本地男子超級欖球聯賽」衛冕冠軍Natixis香港足球會(港會)和法興銀行華利欖球會(華利)雙雙在四強賽脫穎而出,攜手晉身季後總決賽冠軍戰,賽事將於本週六(京士柏運動場,晚上7時30分)上演。

鑑於新型冠狀病毒疫情,四強賽改為閉門作賽,華利輕取彭博香港蘇格蘭人欖球隊(蘇格蘭人)34-7,港會亦以21-6力克Herbert Smith Freehills香港大學沙灣隊(沙灣隊) ,這兩支本地老牌球會令今屆季後總決賽冠軍戰更具話題,加上港會早前宣佈蟬聯聯賽盟主之位。

華利和蘇格蘭人交手30分鐘後分差只有3分,這3分是來自華利的K.菲爾迪(Kevin Field)4分鐘的罰球。馬克斯(Carl Marks)之後達陣和K.菲爾迪附加罰球建功,將領先優勢增至10分。

「屋漏偏逢連夜雨」的蘇格蘭人其後少打一人,赫尼(Conor Hartley)被罰黃牌。華利藉人數上的優勢再下一城,杜保萊(Ruan Duplooy)在對手的達陣線前混戰中把握機會達陣,華利帶著17-0的優勢返回更衣室。

華利易邊後並未有放軟手腳,亨達比斯葛(Hunter Prescott) 的達陣將比分擴大至 22-0。

後備兵祈爾邦(Quintus Kilbourn)的達陣為蘇格蘭人破蛋,麥尼殊(Gregor McNeish)的附加罰球改成 22-7。華利為免夜長夢多繼續進攻,彭尼拿圖(Peni Latu)的達陣將分差改為27-7。「賽事最有價值球員」杜保萊完成梅開二度並鎖定34-7的勝果,亦是華利季後總決賽5連勝於2018/19球季斷纜後,首度亮相決賽。



上年沙灣隊半場時已在港會身上砍下19分,他們今年重施故技,僅開賽90秒便藉雲達史密(Luke van der Smit)、戴夫賓(Ben Davey)和馬克派俄(Mark Prior)的「三角攻勢」帶來首個黃金機會。

馬克派俄的最後一擊被港會麥康明侯頓(Hugh McCormick-Houton)的勇悍攔截化險為夷,縱使沙灣隊機會眾多,卻只能在上半場取得3分。

港會面對沙灣隊排山倒海的攻勢並沒有自亂陣腳,憑牢固的防守陣式與對手周旋。雖然港會上半場只有零星攻勢,但佳恩曉士(Glyn Hughes)射入兩個罰球,取得6-0的優勢,港會於風頭火勢下亦在上下半場取得達陣 。

丹馬克(Max Denmark)接應迪堤亞尼(Nate De Thierry) 的高踢球後往達陣線狂奔,可惜他在線前一米被攔下,後上支援的朗達(Jamie Lauder)奪得控球並在完半場前10分鐘達陣。

沙灣隊繼續步步進逼和在22碼區獲得罰球,早前已浪費了一次機會的米達斯(Jack Metters)並沒有再失手,將分差縮窄至13-3。易邊後沙灣隊再加強火力,可惜這支上屆季後總決賽盟主把握力不足,多番機會都付之一炬。

沙灣隊之後憑菲立斯(Iwan Phillips)再獲3分,進一步追至6-13。

港會的賓布蘭(Ben Axten-Burrett)和 迪堤亞尼腹至心靈的互相配合,成功撕破對手的防線,造就前者在完場前14分鐘達陣。

不屆不撓的沙灣隊持續狂攻,可是再次白白浪費了兩個黃金機會,而佳恩曉士完場前射入罰球,取得 21-6的最終勝利。

沙灣隊韋京臣(Brett Wilkinson) 讚賞球員全季的英勇演出:「我對他們今日和今季的表現引以為榮。今戰是一場惡仗也是我們球季的縮影。我們錯過了不少良機。」「下半場早段我們製造了很多改變戰局的機會,可是我們未有好好把握。我們連續兩年晉身四強, 不但完成目標和說明了我們的穩定性有所改善。」

「畢馬威女子欖球超級聯賽」之季後總決賽    華利猛虎兩雄相遇

[202024日,香港]:  法興銀行華利女子欖球會(華利)在上週六的「畢馬威女子欖球超級聯賽」季後總決賽四強戰,以46-0輕取Natixis香港足球會(港會),將與衛冕的Borrelli Walsh三軍會猛虎欖球會(猛虎)爭奪錦標。



華利球員兼教練美露(Bella Milo)賽後說:「今次的勝利得來不易。」「港會十分進取,幸好我們的前鋒線提供了很好的進攻平台,讓我們能利用球場闊度來進攻。」

華利的前鋒不只負責工兵任務,亦為球隊貢獻得分,高雅迪(Olivia Coady)上半場達陣兩次,是球隊半場領先32-0的功臣之一,她在下半場早段大演帽子戲法。

美露也在上半場達陣兩次,還有七人隊代表謝家美(Colleen Tjosvold)和伊洁茜(Jessica Eden)。

高雅迪在48分鐘攻入個人第3次達陣,湯雲碧嘉(Rebecca Thompson)在完場前錦上添花,港會易邊後的防守大有改善,只讓華利得手兩次。美露知道球隊大幅領先下稍為放鬆,但她不希望在決賽出現,她道:「我們開局理想但下半場有點力不從心,我們今週的訓練要對症下藥。」

Formula E reveals Gen2 EVO world championship car

– Newly named Gen2 EVO to make competitive debut in 2020/21 season of ABB FIA Formula E World Championship
– First shots of the Gen2 EVO car showcase updated futuristic design for fully-electric racing series
– Revisions to car include reprofiled front wing, aggressive-looking new dorsal fin and distinctive curved rear wing


LONDON, UK (February 4, 2019) – Formula E and the FIA have today given fans a first look at the newly named Gen2 EVO, using a reimagined design that will debut in season seven when the electric racing series competes under the banner of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
Ahead of another milestone season, the first Formula E car to contest for the world championship has received a range of structural design changes featuring a new front wing, dorsal fin, distinctive curved rear wing and updated championship livery.
The modifications to the bodywork have been made midway through the current four-year cycle of the ‘Gen2’ era, to provide a fresh new look for Formula E. The car will continue to be fitted with 18-inch MICHELIN Pilot Sport all-weather tyres, specially designed for use in both wet and dry conditions.
The state-of-the-art CGI imagery shows the identical chassis and bodywork that each entry will use in season seven, with the rules remaining open for teams to design and develop their own electric components and parts for the powertrain.
Covers will come off the Gen2 EVO for the first time on the FIA stand at the Geneva International Motor Show on March 3.

This year marks Venturi’s twentieth anniversary under the leadership of its President, Gildo Pastor. The Monegasque businessman has devoted the last two decades to developing innovation and excellence in high-performance electric vehicles. From the first GT to the first polar exploration vehicle, Venturi has led the way in the field of electromobility. And this is only the beginning of the story.

Back in 2000, when Monegasque entrepreneur and confirmed car enthusiast Gildo Pastor acquired the French automaker Venturi, there was wide scepticism about his chances of success. When moving the brand to a new home base in Monaco, he also took the shock decision to turn Venturi into a manufacturer of electric vehicles. Gildo Pastor was already convinced that this nascent technology was the future, a full ten years before the automotive industry ever began its slow conversion to electric engines.


Since 2004, a total of ten vehicles have emerged from the Monegasque firm’s laboratories and workshops: Fétish, Astrolab, Eclectic, Antarctica, Volage, America, VBB 2.0, VBB 2.5, VBB-3, and Voxan Wattman. Each vehicle has made its own mark on history, with unique design, ground-breaking technology and outstanding performance. Among them are the Venturi Buckeye Bullet (VBB), the fastest, most powerful electric cars whose speed records remain unbeaten:
– 2009, the VBB-2.0 (the Venturi hydrogen-powered exception) – 487 km/h
– 2016, the VBB-3 – 549 km/h

Venturi also worked with Citroën to transform the Berlingo range of vehicles. The brand has built some 1,000 motorised units for eleven European markets and the Principality of Monaco. 250 have joined French and Monegasque postal services vehicle parks.

The Monegasque firm has also earned recognition in the world of motor sport. ROKiT Venturi Racing (formerly Venturi Formula-E Team) was the first Formula E team to enter the world championship and is now one of the leaders in the category. For six years, the team Made In Monaco has been duelling with the world’s biggest automotive constructors.


This year, Venturi’s twentieth anniversary will be marked by two major, yet radically different events: the world electric motorcycle speed record attempt by Voxan (a group brand), and the delivery of the appropriately named Antarctica to the South Pole. From 25 km/h to 330 km/h, and from -50°C to +30°C, Gildo Pastor and his teams will once again prove the unrivalled efficiency of their electromobility solutions. Shortly after the Voxan Wattman returns from the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia, the world’s largest salt flat, Antarctica will set off for the South Pole. There, the caterpillar-tracked vehicle will assist the scientific community with their day-to-day work.

This very special year will also see ROKiT Venturi Racing aim for glory on the race track. Gildo Pastor and Susie Wolff (Team Principal) will be joining forces with Mercedes as they lead the team into the Formula E Championship, with drivers Edoardo Mortara and Felipe Massa on board for the second consecutive season.

The cherry on top of the 2020 anniversary cake, will be the move to the new offices and workshops on the ground floor of the Gildo Pastor Center in the Fontvieille district of Monaco.


As a child, Gildo Pastor was fascinated by stories of the great pre-war expeditions and explorations. He has naturally demonstrated a similar thirst for adventure in his own career.

Along the way, he met Sacha Lakic. From day one, the Frenchman has designed every Venturi car projects built right down to the last square inch. Sacha Lakic’s talents have proven crucial to the brand’s success, thanks to his uncanny ability to design sleek and stylish vehicles, despite the large batteries needed to power them. This year, two new creations will emerge from his pen: the Voxan Wattman and the final version of Antarctica (see above).

The third leading light behind the brand is Xavier Chevrin. Xavier is Venturi’s very own adventurer, in the strict sense of the word. The Frenchman demonstrated the efficiency and solidity of the Monegasque firm’s electric engines on two rally raids: Shanghai to Paris (2010) and Mission Africa (2012). Now President of Venturi North America, Xavier will be overseeing the organisation of the motorcycle world speed record this year.
